the key to the healthcare facility effectiveness. The article describes the
evidence based program that provides the link between the key organizational
influences and the healthcare facility staff. The program integrates both the
management and the psychological approaches, which aims in assisting the
organizations prediction on how it will behave in the organizational change
being implemented. This framework is important because it considers the
organizational culture, the management of people, the psychological
consequences as well as the employee attitudes that affects the organization
performance and the quality of the patient care.

has been applied to when allocating scarce health care resources, thereby
improving patient quality of life and increasing their satisfaction. This program allows the decision makers to

psychological consultants to offer the leadership development community. Some of these practices include evaluating
behavior, team building, skill building, conducting assessments, focus training
and motivation training; invest leaders to make better decisions, and
emphasizing character.

management of the healthcare systems. The article relies on the critical
analysis of the findings from exploring 97 articles that based on strategic
healthcare management, because health care management is becoming tougher with
the increased intrinsic and extrinsic uncertainties in the healthcare industry.
The article suggests that utilizing psychology and health management tools is
important because provides opportunities to identify healthcare threats and to
identify strategies to address the uncertainties.

evaluation. The article also highlights that information management system,

begins by saying that culture does not really matter in executive coaching, and
thenlater talks himself out his own opinion based on his own experiences. Most
of the evidence in the article is based on stories alone; however, the
gentleman gives a numbers of his own experiences as a psychologist/consultant
and he presents his own hypotheses about individuals who are culturally
driven. He urges individuals not to
ignore culture in consulting, but to not use it as a beginning or ending point.

This article states that there are
many job opportunities for consulting psychologists in the United States. Health care institutions and schools are two
types of organizations that are quickly changing and quite neglected in the
field consulting psychology. The author
states that health care will greatly benefit from the skill set of a consulting
psychologist’s organizational effectiveness, empirical research, and
psychological training. The author does
mention that many doctoral programs lack the training in consulting psychology
which leaves the psychologist left behind finding ways to advance in research
in the field of consulting psychology.
This may lead the psychologist to overuse methods learned in psychology
disciplines or they may have to apprentice or retrain in consulting
psychology. The author stresses that
graduate programs in consulting psychology need to expand soon in order to
properly train for the expanding need for jobs in this field.

For
many healthcare facilities, the organization faces several ethical decision
making conflicts.The article suggests that ethical decision making process is
experienced every day for diverse issues including employee’s behavior, clinical
practice issues and the allocation process of the little resources that are
available. This calls for an effective ethical infrastructures put in place to
ensure that the process of addressing the conflicts. This will involve use of
procedural justice which fosters fairness and mutual understanding of all
competing values that respond adequately to the particular ethical conflicts
presented.

that psychologists consulting in schools must be able to work in a diverse
environment. Consulting teams is one of
the features used in educational consulting psychological. This method is also used for consulting in corporations. Again, the authors challenge consulting
psychologists to offer their expertise, training, research, and assistance to
schools on both a group and individual level.
